These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of orangecountyapostilleandnotary.com and the services offered by Orange County Apostille & Notary (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1) Services
- Notary services in accordance with California law.
- Apostille and authentication facilitation.
- Document handling, scheduling, and related support services.
We are a private service provider and are not a government agency.
2) No Legal Advice
We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. Nothing on our website, in our messages, or during service should be treated as legal advice. If you need legal guidance, please consult a licensed attorney.
3) Document Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the documents you provide. We may refuse service if a document appears incomplete, suspicious, fraudulent, or outside the scope of services we are legally allowed to provide.
4) Notary Requirements
- Valid acceptable government-issued identification is required when notarization is needed.
- Signers must personally appear, be willing, and appear aware of what they are signing.
- We follow California notarial rules and fee limits.
5) Appointments
- By appointment only: Office visits and service appointments must be scheduled in advance.
- We make reasonable efforts to honor scheduled times, but delays may occur.
- Mobile service, when available, may involve additional travel, timing, parking, toll, wait-time, or access-related charges.
6) Fees, Payments, and Refunds
- Prices may vary depending on the service, document type, destination, shipping, travel, timing, or agency requirements.
- Quotes and estimates are provided for convenience and may change if details change.
- Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Government fees, shipping fees, courier fees, and other third-party costs are generally non-refundable once used or submitted.
- Notary fees are generally non-refundable once the notarial service has been completed.
- If a chargeback is filed for services properly rendered, we may respond with supporting records and documentation.
7) Processing Times
Processing times for apostille, authentication, legalization, shipping, and related services are not guaranteed. Government agencies, consulates, couriers, and other third parties may delay, reject, or change processing without notice.
8) Shipping and Handling
If shipping is requested, we may use third-party carriers. We are not responsible for shipping delays, carrier errors, or loss or damage caused after the package has been accepted by the carrier. Please make sure shipping addresses are correct before submission.
9) Website Use
- You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its operation or security.
- You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse website content, branding, or design without permission.
10) Privacy
Your use of the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
11) Warranties and Liability
- Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
- We do not guarantee that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accepted by any agency or third party.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services shall be brought in Orange County, California, to the extent permitted by law.
